Taşkın’s message for Victory Day on 30 August

Istanbul – UCWEP President Hasan Taşkın published a congratulatory message on the occasion of August 30 Victory Day. In his message, Taşkın stated that they are celebrating the 102nd anniversary of this important day, which is the symbol of the Turkish nation’s struggle for independence and freedom, with great pride.

Hasan Taşkın included the following statements in his message:

“The August 30 Victory, won under the leadership of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, is the result of an epic struggle written by the Turkish nation with the love of independence and sovereignty. This victory was achieved thanks to the perseverance and determination of our nation and has been the most important indicator of our determination to live independently throughout history.

Today, with the same belief and spirit, we continue to protect Türkiye’s independence and integrity. I believe that our efforts to live in unity and solidarity in this sacred land entrusted to us by our ancestors are strengthened by the spirit of August 30.

On this occasion, I commemorate all our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the country, especially Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades-in-arms, and remember our veterans with gratitude. “I congratulate our nation’s August 30 Victory Day with my sincerest wishes and hope that the Republic of Türkiye will survive forever.”

Hasan Taşkın’s message pointed out that August 30 Victory Day once again reminds us of the spirit of the Turkish nation full of independence and love of homeland. UCWEP continues to celebrate this meaningful day with enthusiasm and look to the future with hope in national unity and solidarity.
