Taşkın: We will continue to take responsibility for unity and solidarity

Hasan Taşkın, Chairman of UCWEP, published a congratulatory message on the occasion of the New Year. Taşkın emphasized the importance of unity and solidarity in his message and emphasized that they will continue to stand by the state and the nation.

Taşkın pointed out that the profession of journalism requires social responsibility and drew attention to the duty of the press to inform the public correctly. Taşkın stated that journalists should act on the basis of impartiality and principle, and that defending the truth is the basic element of the profession.

Stating that the unity and social integrity of the country is above all else, Taşkın noted that they will continue to fulfill their responsibilities in this regard with determination.

Hoping that the new year will be auspicious for Türkiye and the nation, Hasan Taşkın wished that 2026 will be a year in which peace, tranquility, democracy and press freedom are further strengthened, and congratulated all citizens on the new year.
