Happy 21 October World Journalists Day

EBK President Hasan Taşkın published a message on the occasion of 21 October World Journalists’ Day.

In his message, Taşkın said, “One of the indispensable elements of a democratic country is the press. Journalists have a great responsibility in terms of freedom of information, raising social awareness, and spreading freedom of expression and thought in the public sphere.”

The struggle of our members of the press, who work devotedly despite all difficulties and troubles to meet the need for news in every corner of the world and to ensure that society reaches accurate information quickly, regardless of working hours, deserves every appreciation.
