UCWEP President Hasan Taşkın visits OIC-AC
Istanbul,* — UCWEP President Hasan Taşkın visited the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Arbitration Center (OIC-AC) with his accompanying delegation. During the visit, the UCWEP delegation met with OIC-AC Deputy Secretary General Dr. He met with Alper Çağrı Yılmaz and Marketing and Public Relations Manager Nihan Çetin. Deputy Chairman Ali Koray Büyükasar, organization President Yusuf Ersoy and D8 Business People Platform Secretary General Fatih Poyraz also attended the meeting on behalf of UCWEP. The meeting took place at OIC-AC’s head office located in TOBB Plaza in Esentepe, Istanbul.

Speaking at the meeting, UCWEP President Hasan Taşkın explained in detail the council’s mission and activities in the digital media world. Taşkın emphasized that UCWEP promotes international cooperation among e-media platforms by defending the principles of ethics and integrity in journalism.

Dr. Alper Çağrı Yılmaz shared important information about OIC-AC’s work in Türkiye. Yılmaz stated that the center provides effective services in resolving disputes among the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and made detailed explanations about how these services work.

During the visit, future collaborations between UCWEP and OIC-AC were also discussed. It was stated that these collaborations are of great importance in terms of better understanding of arbitration processes by the media and supporting the principles of transparency and accountability.
