UCWEP President Hasan Taşkın marks the Republic’s 101st anniversary

Special Message from UCWEP President Hasan Taşkın for the 101st Anniversary of the Republic

UCWEP President Hasan Taşkın published a message on the occasion of the 101st anniversary of the Republic. Taşkın stated that the Republic, which Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades entrusted to the Turkish nation, was celebrated with pride and emphasized democracy, the rule of law, freedom of the press and expression.

Hasan Taşkın’s message included the following statements:

“Today, we are proud and happy to celebrate the 101st anniversary of the Republic of Türkiye in the light of the Republic established by our nation with great sacrifices. The Republic not only brought independence to the Turkish nation, but also provided a free future with democratic values.

On this meaningful day, we wish for a future in which freedom of press and expression of thought is further strengthened, the rule of law and fundamental rights and freedoms are secured, and democracy is deeply rooted in our country. We will continue to work together for a stronger Türkiye so that our Republic can reach a bright future.”

At the end of his message, UCWEP President Hasan Taşkın commemorated the founder of our Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and his comrades in arms, and congratulated the entire nation on the Republic Day.
