UCWEP Names New Digital Transformation Team

UCWEP held a critical meeting to plan the new steps to be taken in the digital transformation process and determine the distribution of tasks. Council President Hasan Taşkın, Vice President Hasan Ali Cesur, Press Spokesperson Nihal Olçok and High Advisory Board Member Güven Yılmaz attended the meeting.

The main agenda of the meeting was the establishment of the team structure that will determine the new road map within the framework of digital transformation. In today’s world where the media and communication world is rapidly digitalizing, new appointments have been decided to move the Council to a more effective and inclusive structure.

President Hasan Taşkın, in his statement after the meeting, said, “The media is now responsible for many topics such as not only news production, but also digital literacy, content security and fast access to information. Therefore, we are structuring our teams in accordance with this transformation.” he said.

🧭 In the new teams to be created; Experts will be appointed in critical areas such as artificial intelligence-supported news systems, digital archiving, social media coordination, data security and international media relations.

📢 While Press Spokesperson Nihal Olçok announced that a more dynamic communication model will be adopted in order to inform the public more accurately and quickly, Hasan Ali Cesur said, “In the new period, we will actively integrate not only with the domestic public but also with global media platforms.” he said.

UCWEP will share its strategic moves based on reliable and transparent media principles in the digital age with the public in the coming days.
